I just finished Bike Northwoods...Sunday July 15 it got to 100.

On Friday in Mellen on arising in the morning you could see your breath and it was in the 40"s.

SAGBRAW last year was very warm the first day also and then it cooled off.

See you all on SABBRAW!

Dave

Expect temps to be from the 40's to the 90's. Four years ago we had heat indices in the 115+ range with an ambient temp of 100. The next year we stayed in Algoma and the temp was in the lower forties. I put on everything I had and was still cold in my tent. That's Wisconsin weather. Yup, last year was really hot the first day and then we had rain the second.  Weather Happens.   Two challenge hills if you bike up to Washington Island.   I highly recommend taking the ferry to Washington Island.  Beautiful, relaxing trip.

Also, there's a GREAT place to eat in Fish Creek called Julie's Park Cafe.  OH MY GOSH ... THE ABSOLUTE BEST DESSERTS ! ! !   My friends and I ate their THREE TIMES when we were on the trip last year.  Yes, we had dessert each and every time - oink.  There's a biiiig purple chair in the front of the restaurant that is a hoot when trying to get out of it ... especially if you've just eaten at the cafe and had dessert :P

Enjoy!

I don't want to scare you but last year was CRAZY hot.  The first day we had a heat index of 110 degrees........and it was pretty rough.  Expect warm temps.  As the time gets closer I will be checking the weather forecast and planning for what is predicted.  We'll whether the weather whatever the weather.  :)

Hi all,

This will be our first SAGBRAW.  I'm curious what to expect for weather, like typical highs and especially overnight lows and morning temps?

Thanks!

Lyle
