Hey, where is that evaluation e-mail we were supposed to receive. Since i haven't received anything i thought i would add my thoughts about this years SAGBRAW. I can't give the ride an overall score because my experiences were different depending on what aspect I discuss. The route and the directions get a nine. I can't give it a ten because the route to the white sands on day number one was not properly signed and most people turned left and missed the beach. The schools receive a score of six from me. Unlike the 4 AM risers I'm not all that interested in getting to the days end before 11 AM. Therefore the water temp. was mixed depending on the school. SAG services gets an eight. My gear was always where it was supposed to be and the drivers were friendly and helpful. Kathy and Eric get a ten for taking on this venture but kathy's rambling speaking style made it immpossible for me to attend the nightly meetings after the second day. She receives a score of four. This now leads me to the meal service which I would rate as a solid two. I am a vegetarian and signed up for the vegetarian meal plan. On the bus ride to the start I read in my official material that if you didn't sign up for the vegetarian meal plan you could not switch as there were only so many veg. plans available. So I get in the chow line and priovide the crew with my number and note that there is a small v next to my number which i assume correctly idemntifies me as a vegetarian. I then asked the food staff what the alternative that is being provided to the vegetarians. I'm not kidding the person told me, "just don't eat the meat". Except for the eggs I looked over the options and informed the food staff that the options provided din't make a complete protein. I took some eggs and detected the tasted meat. I asked and was told that they may have cooked the eggs in the same pan as the sausage and or bacon, so much for the eggs. I hope that these issues can be resolved and thank you for this opportunity to express my opinion about the tour. Jax
