The family of three from Michigan (pictured on the top of the SAGBRAW page) are all darn glad they were wearing helmets last year on GRABAAWR.  I'm sure the guy that broke his seat post on the downhill would say the same.  I can't imagine riding a bike at ANY SPEED without one.  You don't have to be at fault to get knocked off the bike and land on your head....up or down the hill.

I thought so, but I didn't see anything on the website or registration form that stated this.

Presumably since we have all signed waivers, it would be up to us anyway. Unless it is also Wisconsin state law?

If I am slogging up a hill in 90+ degree heat and 100% humidity, then the helmet is likely to come off before I fry my brain!
It will, of course, be back on for the down hill :D

Just wondering...Is the wearing of a bicycle helmet on GRABAAWR mandatory or just highly recommended?
