LOL, at least we'll never have to fight over beer! Bud products never
pass my lips . St. Louis is also home to Schlafly Brewing, who also
have a great restaurant called the Taproom. Mostly we use St. Louis
as a place to buy the great beers that don't cross the Mighty Mississippi,
such as those from New Belgium and Odell Breweries. Life would be
simpler if we just liked Bud, though, I have to admit! And cheaper!
Cheers,
Audrey

Brian & Audrey, Welcome and I'm sure you will enjoy GRABAAWR very much. But if you are in Carbondale, not far from St. Louis and the home of Anheuser Busch and the finest beers known to humankind, why on earth would you have any interest in a Wisconsin microbrew?
Sorry, but this is standing joke between my buddy and I. He enjoys a much wider variety of tastes, and heavier beers than I . Having found Bud and Bud Light, why one would bother testing other waters or challenging boundaries is beyond me.
GRABAAWR is a great ride and Wisconsin has many fine small breweries. Try to taste them all. And most importantly, have a great ride.

Hello all,
We're Brian and Audrey Wagner from Carbondale, Illinois.
We ride a purple Rans Screamer and are signed up for Grabaawr.
This will be our first Wisconsin tour -- we did Ragbrai last year and
had a great time, but decided to skip the Lancemania this year.
We have had our Screamer for just under two years; having never
done any "serious" biking before that, we have just reached the
3000 mile mark on our bike! We also have a Bachetta Giro and
a beater bike for carrying stuff. Working on getting the kids
(boys, 6, 9 and 11) to work up their mileages so we can really
do family rides . It'll be a while before they go on a tour with us,
but it's fun to go to DQ or the farmers' market with them.
Oh, and we like good beer. So we are looking forward to enjoying
the Wisconsin micorbrews and stocking up on a few cases to take home
after the ride.
Cheers,
Audrey & Brian
